Helen Mesoloras
Helen Mesoloras was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November, 2004. However, she joined the law firm as a law clerk in September 2002. She received her B.A. with Honors from DePaul University in 2001 in Public Policy and she received her J.D. degree from DePaul University in May, 2004. While an undergraduate, she worked for non-profit organizations which focused on community development including the Greater Southwest Development Corporation and Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago. The summer before attending law school, she worked in administrative appeals for an Administrative Law Judge with the Illinois Department of Employment Security. In law school, she took classes in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, Federal Estate and Gift Taxation, and Health Care Law and Regulations.
Helen is a member of the following associations:

- Vice Chair of the Elder Law Committee (2005-2006)
- Chair of the Elder Law Committee (2006-present)
- Illinois State Bar Association
- National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
Helen also co-authored two chapters with Attorneys Steven C. Perlis and Tonya Gabbard in Illinois Jurisprudence (published by Lexis-Nexis), covering Medicaid Planning and Basic Estate Planning.
After having taken the bar exam, Helen and her family vacationed in the Greek Islands.
